designer loves art....Tabitha Fisher...137

are we aware if what is really going on around us?

this is Tabitha Fisher

living in Canada, she is an animation filmmaker  and illustrator. but what I really like about her is her blog, in which she captures everyday  things with a sketchbook and a pen.  i admire how with clean lines she is able to show so much of what is going on  in the environment  she is in, a park, a restaurant or the ballet. it reminds me that i should start carrying my sketchbook around again, though i wasn't even close to how good she is it is something i always enjoyed.

designer loves art....Esther Bayer...136

what do you get when you mix fashion cover and water colors?

this is Esther Bayer

living in Canada, she has  created her own style of art. all of her prints  are from her fashion illustration. all of her work have a vintage feel to it. even thought they are inspired in modern-day  fashion covers.
we work is mostly watercolor, and the use of color makes the images almost ethereal looking.i hope we see more of her in the future.

designer loves art....Sebastian Brajkovic...133

photoshop is a powerful tool, especially when it can inspire you

this is Sebastian Brajkovic

born in Amsterdam, he believes that new ideas have to be the combination of the past, present and future. his works starts with a chair 17th  to 19th century and  extend it on one way or the other, he said he was inspired by Photoshop and how you can expand things in it, i believe its the smudge  command but  i might be wrong. take a look at his work and you can see that he is correct, take something old ( a chair) and the present ( your material and process) and create something new(future).
