designer loves art...Madeline von Foerster...113

there are allot of techniques that because of time have been lost,

this is Madeline von Foerster
http://www.madelinevonfoerster.com/index.html

original from San Francisco she is a master in the technique of eggs and mixed oils tempera which was created by the Flemish masters in the 15th century. her works have brilliant colors and intresting compositions, but  i think that most importantly are her subjects. i would classify her as a contemporary surrealist but don't take my word for it.

designer loves art...Slinkachu...111

how much are we actually aware of what is around us?

this is Slinkachu
http://slinkachu.com

living in the UK. his concept goes 2 ways, one is how overwhelming it could be to live in a huge city by seeming so little. and at the same time, how we are not usually aware of what's around us. so he places little scenes in the busy street, with little models of people. but how many people pass by them without even seeing them?
